During the second day of the 4th North-East Asia International Conference on Engineering & Technology Education, under the theme The Innovation Strategy for Engineering and Technology Education in Knowledge Economy Era that was held in Taichung, Taiwan, between 25 and 29 October 2010, the World Institute for Engineering and Technology Education reached an agreement on partnership with the College of Management at Hungkuang University, Taichung, Taiwan. The agreement was signed by the Dean of the College of Management, Professor David W.S. Tai and the WIETE Director, Professor Zenon J. Pudlowski.
Under the agreement, it is envisaged the two parties will further reinforce the mission, aims and objectives of the WIETE, and will join forces in promoting and developing engineering and technology education globally. It is also anticipated that the two partners will pursue jointly a wide range of research and development activities and will organise an international conference in Taiwan in the not too distant future.
